When switching from indoor to outdoor riding, can Indoor&Track wax still be used?

At the end of the indoor training season, we recommend cleaning the chain with UFO Drivetrain Cleaner – apply the cleaner to a cloth and clean the sticky wax layer from the chain. After cleaning, apply Ufo All Conditions or Wet wax to the chain as usual and you’re ready to ride outdoors!

At what temperature should the wax be stored?

5-30°C

Although the bottle says 10-30°C, can it be stored at higher or lower temperatures?

Tests have been conducted below 5 and above 35°C. At these temperatures, the substance becomes thicker, so it is necessary to shake the bottle thoroughly before use. The first cm may be thicker, but it is safe to use as the wax retains its functionality. In extreme conditions, it may be necessary to clean the tip of the cap with a needle. Why is it recommended to wait overnight after applying the wax? How long do I have to wait? The particles in the bottle are dissolved in water, and the water must evaporate before the wax particles can bind together. Allowing the wax to dry also prevents dirt from sticking to the wax, which would otherwise turn the chain black. It is recommended to wait at least 8 hours for best results. What is that sound when I shake the bottle? If the wax has not been used for a long time or has been exposed to large temperature fluctuations, it may be thicker. There is a bolt inside the bottle that helps to make the wax more liquid again.
