Continental Grand Prix 5000 S tubeless outer tire for road bikes
Compared to its predecessor, the Continental GP 5000 S is lighter, faster and has improved sidewalls. The tire is fast and has very good riding characteristics.
- Tubeless tire, for use with tire sealant or inner tube
- Black Chili Compound tire compound has good grip and therefore offers good traction on wet roads
- Vectran Breaker liquid crystal polymer fabric puncture belt makes the tire more resistant to punctures. Compared to nylon, it is lighter, more elastic and stronger, and does not impair the rolling characteristics of the tire.
- LazerGrip pattern extending over the edge of the tire provides excellent grip, especially when cornering.
- Active Comfort technology dampens vibrations and makes riding smoother.
