• Compared with the more affordable Elite Rivo smart trainer: The Avanti offers higher maximum power and gradient simulation, along with an integrated power meter accurate to ±1%. You also get Wi-Fi connectivity, automatic calibration and Flex Feet, which allow lateral movement while pedalling. This makes the Avanti a great choice for cyclists who want accurate training data and more control over their training load.
• Compared with the more expensive Elite Justo 2: The Avanti offers the same ±1% power measurement accuracy, Wi-Fi connectivity and automatic calibration, but with lower maximum power (2100 W vs. 2300 W) and less steep gradient simulation (18% vs. 24%). The Justo 2 adds even more precise power measurement (less than ±1%), two sets of Flex Feet elastomers, a larger flywheel and a longer My E-Training subscription. If you don’t need simulation of the steepest gradients or the most advanced extra features, the Avanti offers an excellent balance between price and functionality.
