• If you get stuck in the middle of a trail, the new Forksight mode shows you the trails ahead and exactly where you are in the trail network.
• While riding, the Edge 1040 tracks ride details such as the number of jumps, jump length and time spent in the air.
• The device evaluates the difficulty of the trail using GPS, altimeter and accelerometer data, as well as the smoothness of your ride, so you have a score to beat next time.
