Gobik Avert Winter Overshoes

Gobik Avert are warm and durable winter overshoes designed primarily for gravel and mountain biking in cold and rainy conditions. The 3 mm thick reinforced neoprene helps keep your feet warm and protects against moisture, while the robust external protective layers provide better durability when riding on technical terrain. The manufacturer recommends using them in temperatures from -5 to +10 °C.

Vulcanised rubber reinforcements on the toe, sides and sole improve abrasion resistance and allow you to walk in the shoes when necessary. The edges around the sole openings are reinforced with Kevlar thread, which helps increase durability in areas exposed to the most friction when riding off-road.

The two-piece structured construction provides a comfortable and secure fit. The simple Velcro® fastening allows the overshoes to be adjusted around the shoe, while the side-positioned heat-sealed zipper with reflective detailing makes them easier to put on and improves visibility in low-light conditions. The extended shaft provides additional protection against cold and moisture.

Avert are particularly well suited for gravel and MTB riding, where you need to deal with cold as well as wet and technical terrain. If you need winter overshoes that also allow you to walk for short periods when necessary, the reinforced construction is a practical advantage.

Care: wash in cold water with a neutral detergent, without fabric softener. Turn inside out and make sure the zipper is fully closed. Use a laundry bag and a small amount of detergent if possible. Use a gentle wash cycle or minimal spin speed. Dry inside out in a shaded place. Do not soak, wring or iron. Do not dry clean.
