BINDING

• Wide binding.
• Lake Winter Last has a much wider and higher toe box to maintain normal blood circulation in the feet even when wearing thick socks, and the more spacious toe box also helps to retain heat better.

OUTSOLE

• The Vibram Mountain V rubber sole pattern provides excellent traction in winter conditions. The tread pattern is also placed in the center of the shoe sole to improve walking comfort and safety.
• Two metal spikes in the toe area for extra grip.
• The fiberglass-reinforced nylon sole is stiff enough for pedaling and does not compromise comfort when walking.

UPPER

• Upper made from Pittards WR100 moisture-proof leather
• 3M Thinsulate insulation in the toe area
• Thermosol composite insulation in the shank
• The BOA fastening in the middle of the boot is protected from branches and falls
• The tongue of the boot is covered with a flap that can be fastened with a snap and strap to secure the boot even better to the foot and prevent water from splashing into the shoe
• Reflective elements for increased visibility.

The upper part of the shoe has been treated with a waterproofing agent that wears off over time. To maintain the water resistance of the shoe, we recommend repeating the treatment:

• Twice a year for riding in mainly dry weather and normal use
• Every 2-3 training sessions for riding in mainly wet conditions and everyday use
