The Pnut KinetiCore is specifically developed for the youngest road users – babies and toddlers riding in child seats, trailers, or cargo bikes. Unlike the Nutz model, the Pnut is tailored for an even smaller head size (starting from 46 cm), and its shape is optimized for maximum comfort while seated, providing Lazer’s highest level of KinetiCore safety.

KEY DIFFERENCES FROM THE NUTZ MODEL:

• Pnut is designed for head sizes 46–52 cm, making it suitable for significantly younger children
• The rear of the Pnut is designed to be even flatter to prevent the child’s head from being pushed forward, even in deep child seats with high backrests
• Being even smaller, the Pnut weighs only 240g, which is crucial for reducing the load on a baby’s developing neck muscles
• KinetiCore Technology: Integrated protection that shields a toddler’s delicate head from both direct and rotational impacts using built-in Controlled Crumple Zones

COMFORT AND ADJUSTMENT:

• KidFit System: An automatic self-adjusting system that ensures a precise fit without dials – simply place the helmet on the head and it adjusts itself (similar to the Nutz model’s EZ Fit system but optimized for smaller heads)
• The fastening buckle is located on the child’s cheek to prevent painful skin pinching under the chin

TECHNOLOGY AND VENTILATION:

• Insect Net and Ventilation: 11 vents ensure good cooling, while the integrated mesh keeps insects out of the helmet
• Extended coverage at the temples and the back of the head provides safety in the areas most vulnerable during a toddler’s fall
