No batteries or rechargeable batteries are needed to make the Micro Mini Deluxe Glow LED scooter glow. The scooter stores energy from sunlight and UV lamps, which is later converted into a glowing effect. The LED lights start to glow when the scooter is in motion thanks to a dynamo mechanism, making the child even more visible in the dark.
