Rudy Project Deltabeat sunglasses with ImpactX photochromic (self-tinting) lenses feature a sharp-edged design, advanced lens technology, and exceptional frame comfort. Utilizing the sustainable and eco-friendly Rilsan® Clear technology developed by Arkema, these sports glasses include an adjustable ErgoNose system and the patented PowerFlow ventilation solution to minimize fogging.

IMPACTX Lenses 
ImpactX® lenses are unbreakable (thanks to a unique semi-rigid structure) and photochromic, meaning they darken or brighten automatically depending on light conditions, making them ideal for changing light environments. Originally developed for military and aerospace needs to be ultralight, bulletproof, and transparent, they provide significantly better protection and reliability compared to polycarbonate or polyamide lenses. The semi-rigid structure ensures the best physical protection for the eyes against external impacts while minimizing the severity of injuries from falls or strikes.

Note: Lenses with laser coating reduce glare in bright light conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to use ImpactX® laser-coated lenses only during daylight hours.

Deltabeat Features

Deltabeat glasses are lightweight (31g), durable, and adjustable to your face shape. They feature exceptionally comfortable and easily adjustable nose pads suitable for various face shapes. The nose pads also allow you to adjust the height and distance of the lenses from the face. An ultra-simple lens replacement system allows you to quickly swap lenses as weather conditions change.

Rudy Project uses innovative Rilsan Clear® for the Deltabeat frames, developed by Arkema. Rilsan Clear® frames are made from a 100% renewable, bio-based polymer. The frame is lightweight, flexible, and resistant to chemicals and wear. This results in sunglasses that are durable, shock-resistant, and weather-proof—ideal for sports.
