Lactate production is often a limiting factor in high-intensity anaerobic exercise. This results in a sharp drop in pH levels over a short period of time. The body does not tolerate low pH levels particularly well and needs substances that prevent pH fluctuations. Sodium bicarbonate and citrate can compensate for the increase in acidity that would otherwise limit performance.
Specially developed for competitive athletes, for whom the increase in acidity often limits performance (rowing, sprinting, skiing, swimming, etc.). Preparation: Take the first serving before the competition day and the second serving 2 to 1 hour before the competition on the competition day. Drink in small sips.
Prepare the mixture as follows: take the required amount of water and then the required amount of powder and mix thoroughly. If desired, add more water.

45-55 kg: take 25 g of powder (3 ML) and approx. 700 ml of water;

Warnings!

  • Does not replace a well-balanced and varied diet.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose. Individual characteristics may cause digestive disorders.
  • Do not use with milk. Sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate may cause milk-alkali syndrome with elevated calcium levels in the blood and may lead to calcium deposits in the kidneys.
  • Due to its high sodium content, it is not recommended for use in cases of high blood pressure, kidney disease, asthma, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in children and adolescents. These groups of people should refrain from using Lactat Buffer. Changes in urine pH are caused by the action of sodium bicarbonate. If an athlete is called for a doping test, it may take a few hours for the pH level to rise to the required level.
