The Stevens Vapor is a purebred cyclocross bike, as evidenced by its aggressive riding position and lively handling. The bike is equipped with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and a reliable GRX drivetrain. The Vapor is ideal as a first cyclocross bike or as a road/gravel bike for those who value a slightly more aerodynamic riding position. In addition to its more aggressive riding position, shorter wheelbase, and frame tube placement (for example, the top tube is almost parallel to the ground to make the bike easier to carry on your shoulder during cyclocross races) and narrower tire clearance, which means that you can’t fit very wide tires under there – the usual maximum is around 38-40 mm.
