Unlike maltodextrin and glucose, which compete with each other for absorption, maltodextrin and fructose are absorbed in parallel. In this case, maltodextrin provides ultra-fast energy, plus slow energy release from fructose.

TORQ does not use artificially produced caffeine in its gels, but natural guarana extract (natural caffeine), which gives the gels their golden color. Guarana stimulates the nervous system, increases physical endurance and performance, accelerates fat burning, and improves coordination and alertness. One TORQ guarana gel contains 89 mg of caffeine – more than a double espresso. We recommend consuming guarana gel in the last quarter of your performance (competition).
NB! As this product contains caffeine, it is not suitable for children!
TORQ gels have a pleasantly light and syrupy texture. The gel does not stick to the mouth and does not need to be washed down with water immediately after consumption. Nevertheless, we recommend drinking water after consuming the gels for better absorption!
All TORQ products are free from artificial colors, sweeteners, and preservatives. They do not contain cheap and harmful sweeteners, which the WHO has warned are harmful to health. The products are easily digestible and do not cause stomach upset. Only ingredients of natural origin or naturally occurring in the human body are used in the manufacture of the products.
All TORQ gels, drink powders, and bars are manufactured based on the latest scientific research (references to studies are provided on the www.torqfitness.co.uk website). A combination of 2:1 maltodextrin and fructose is used, which ensures the highest carbohydrate utilization rate that cannot be achieved with any other food or drink. Until the discovery of maltodextrin, glucose was the preferred sugar in sports nutrition. However, maltodextrin is more effective than glucose.
